Mark Calaway [1], best known as the professional wrestler and WWE Superstar the Undertaker was born in Houston, Texas on 24, March 1965 [2] into the family of his mother and father, Frank and Catherine Calaway and four brothers.
Growing up in Houston, he attended Waltrip High School where he played for the school basketball team and graduated in 1983. With his sights set on becoming a pro basketball player in his teenage years, Mark went to Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas on a basketball scholarship.
He later went on to attend Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth where he studied Sports Management and played in the university basketball team. However, being a Texas native, Mark had grown up watching wrestling on TV and became familiar with the famous Von Erich wrestling family.
